Geraldine Westrupp

While my children were young I trained as a teacher and a community worker, became a passionate rock climber and for the past 25 years have travelled to many exciting and beautiful places around the world, pursuing my own mountaineering ambitions to a very high level and guiding others on their own personal adventures in wild and remote places.

In 2004 I sold my cottage in the mountains of Snowdonia my established base as a mountain guide for many years, and bought a tranquil retreat in the timeless and unspoilt region of Northern Spain’s ‘Green’ Asturias, the seeds of this move can be traced back to a brilliant rock climbing holiday that I enjoyed in this stunning region several years ago with a group of girlfriends.
I spend my time between here and another equally amazing country, Iceland.

2008 will see me continuing to develop and offer some exciting new trekking/walking holidays in the unique mountain region of the Picos de Europa and Iceland which is my second home.

My love of travel and adventures in wild places is reflected in my photo gallery pages.

Private guiding, contact me for details and rates.

Enjoy!
