Geraldine Westrupp

While my children were young I trained as a teacher and a community worker, became a passionate rock climber and for the past 25 years have traveled to many exciting and beautiful places around the world, pursuing my own mountaineering ambitions to a very high level and guiding others on their own personal adventures in wild and remote places.

In 2004 I sold my cottage in the mountains of North Wales, home for many years, and bought a country house in the timeless and un-spoilt region of Northern Spain’s ‘Green’ Asturias, the seeds of this move can be traced back to a brilliant rock climbing holiday that I enjoyed in this stunning region several years ago with a group of girlfriends. 2012/3 will see us continuing to develop and offer some exciting new trekking/walking/photography/multi activity and family holidays in this ‘Tolkien-like’ mountain region of the Picos de Europa

Nowadays I am based in another equally amazing country Iceland where we organize photography and adventure holidays in the uniquely, wild landscape of this volcanically active Island.

For 2012 we are offering a variety of adventure photo holidays including Iceland, South India, Ladakh and the Picos de Europa

Occasionally I travel to guide in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal, India and Bhutan, my passion for travel and adventures in wild places is reflected in my photo gallery pages. Enjoy!
